Committees

Currently, we have several committees that are up and running. Here is a short description of each. If you are a member, and are interested in joining a committee, please contact the chairperson.

The following committees are ongoing:

Hostess: Be a host/hostess at our monthly meetings. We would like to have 2 or 3 share the load at each meeting. You need to buy or bake finger foods and/or desserts for approximately 100 people in attendance of the meeting. You will be reimbursed for your expenses. You need to arrive one half hour before the meeting begins to set up the coffee and. Please contact Karen Buccini or Dolores Mazzotta for more information.

Craft Committee:Our goal is to have fun, create something unique, and make a little profit if we can! You don't need a lot of skill, just the desire to pitch in and be creative! Meets 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Wednesday at 7 p.m. Diane Soares - Chair

Newsletter: Kathy Wishart puts together our monthly newsletter. Committee Members are encouraged to e-mail a report and/or information before the 15th of each month.

Scholarship: Our lodge plans events to fund our scholarship fund. Applications for scholarships are available to High School seniors who are members or children of members in good standing of the lodge. Clara Cavallaro - Chairperson.

Social: Our lodge is quite active! We run bus trips, vacation trips, and we have a dinner club that meets once a month or thereabouts. Functions and activities are always popping up! We'd love to have you join us as a guest or member of the committee. Please contact Lenny Ricciardelli for more information. Members Without Partners - Single and shy about participating because of it? Talk to Dolores Mazzotta and she will help ease the way so you do not feel alone. After all, our lodge isn't only for couples!
